The Eidos national dialogues and how to take part
Eidos runs five national online dialogues on the Mindhive platform, free to join and open for contributions until 31 December 2026, plus a current dialogue on artificial intelligence launched in Brisbane on 29 July 2026.

How to take part
Every dialogue has its own space on Mindhive. Open the dialogue from https://www.eidos.org.au/dialogues, read the framing paper, and add your contribution. Participation is free and open to any Australian.
Contributions are open until 31 December 2026.
You can also propose a dialogue that is not yet running, or start your own space on Mindhive, from the same page.
The current dialogue: The Two Poles of Artificial Intelligence
A discussion paper by Dr. Lindley Edwards, launched in Brisbane on 29 July 2026.
It sets out the tension between artificial intelligence as a democratising force for knowledge and productivity, and artificial intelligence as a source of labour displacement, environmental cost and cognitive colonisation. The dialogue asks what Australians want AI to become.

The Eidos Collective
The Collective is the public community around the dialogues: discussion spaces, events, member profiles and shared dialogue workspaces where response papers are published.
