A Think Tank Born from a Simple Question
In 2004, Eidos Institute was founded on a simple but radical premise: What if Australia's most pressing challenges could only be solved by bringing together people who would never otherwise meet?
Our Journey
Over the past 20 years, we have convened thousands of conversations between Prime Ministers and students, CEOs and community workers, scientists and artists. We have learned that wisdom does not respect hierarchy, and innovation often emerges from the most unexpected intersections.
The Eidos Difference
Unlike traditional think tanks that produce reports for policymakers to consider, Eidos creates spaces where policy is co-designed by those it affects. We believe that:
- Intergenerational dialogue: unlocks perspectives that single-generation thinking cannot access
- Cross-sector collaboration: produces solutions that single-sector approaches miss
- Community wisdom: is an underutilized resource in policy development
Looking to 2025
As we launch our renewed platform, we are more committed than ever to:
- Scaling our impact: through the Mindhive platform
- Deepening intergenerational connections: in an age of increasing polarization
- Pioneering new forms of collective intelligence: that blend human wisdom with AI capabilities
Join Us
Whether you are 18 or 80, whether you work in government, business, academia, or community, whether you have answers or questions, there is a place for you at Eidos.
The challenges facing Australia require all of us. Let us convene the future together.
