An Eidos Institute operational staff member has a skill-set which most resembles a ‘strategy architect’, working closely with stakeholders and partners to build a shared, holistic view of the organisations’ processes, information and intellectual assets. The role of the strategy architect is to gather and analyse knowledge in order to direct the organization towards its strategic targets.
An Eidos Institute strategy architect is knowledgeable of current and future institutional priorities and network areas of focus, and is thus able to oversee, direct and advise the operational construction of a strategic plan that helps satisfy priorities and fulfill expectations.
Responsibilities
As a partnerships manager, you will be responsible for the following areas:
Industry, government and university relations
- Building and maintaining relations with peak bodies from government, university partners and industry sectors
- Monitoring network activity
- Identifying opportunities for industry sponsorship and engagement
- Enhancing and encouraging cross-collaboration between network members
- Research and grant development and ARC linkage support
- Authoring proposals and summaries of potential and current/future projects and partnerships
Team and Account Management
- Producing internal meeting summaries, reports and reviews
- Coordinating meetings
- Event management
- Travel as required
Communications
- Maintaining marketing relationships
- Developing newsletter content and opinion pieces
- Formal and informal communications with members
- Creating content for speeches and presentations
Key selection criteria
- Graduate qualifications in Communications, Public Management, Public Affairs/Policy, International Affairs or similar.
- Excellent communications skills
- Vast knowledge of national and international affairs
- Ability to intellectually engage in topical public policy issues
- Proficient writing skills
- Proven administrative and strategic skills
- Demonstrated ability in the use of online collaboration technologies
Proven experience
- Engaging with stakeholders
- Delivering project outcomes
- Producing high quality written documents
- Working in a team environment
