The Eidos Research Agenda Print E-mail

The Eidos Research Agenda 2009-10 establishes a framework for research, development and diffusion projects advancing issues of importance to Australian productivity and well-being.

The research program aims to build an evidence base to support policy development and implementation. It will deliver the evidence we need to answer these questions:

  • What will our future workforce look like?
  • What are Australia’s skill and knowledge requirements? How many places will be required? And where?
  • Where will we source these skills? Should we import or create them?
  • What are the institutional arrangements that best create and maintain skills and knowledge?
  • How do we measure social and economic indicators like productivity and well-being?
