The Associates Program has the aim of embodying a strong collaborative body of opportunities linking potential consultants with Eidos network participants, namely the Australian Policy Resource Facility. The scope and extent of the Associates Program is of national dimension.
Associates’ Profile Eidos Associates are recognised as a mix of former senior academics, bureaucrats, former peak-body representatives and business people, many of who are now working in small consultancies that undertake some policy work. An Eidos Associate’s responsibilities will require them to participate in tenders and contract work that demand a specific character and/or profile. The profile for an Eidos Associate will be descriptive of a high quality professional with the ability to deliver services promptly to network participants. Eidos seeks established consultants with a track record of successful proposal and tender writing experience to contact them with a view to consulting opportunities nationally and internationally. An Eidos Associate will be a team worker and a leader at the same time; innovative problem solving will be a key aspect of their professional skills. Typically Associates play the lead role or a specialist role within the research team, seeking to utilise their individual areas of expertise and experience as they prepare the bid, liaise with the client and manage the team in order to ensure the project achieves its objectives in a timely manner. Our Associates are former heads of government, industry or academia who know and understand the need to deliver on time, every time to the highest possible standards.
