Queensland was successful in receiving this year one of the three senior Fulbright scholars for 2005 - Professor Ira Harkavy. Professor Ira Harkavy (Associate Vice President and Founding Director of the Center for Community Partnerships, University of Pennsylvania) travelled 8,000klm over 27 days meeting with 9 government departments, 14 universities, gave 6 public lectures, 5 symposiums and 2 master classes focussing on the role of universities, schools and communities in better learning and better research.

The success of the visit was due in no small part to the support of Eidos partners and colleagues in co-ordinating and hosting various events. A selection of photos are available here .
