Ideas for Social Change

Wednesday 18 May 2005, Public Forums began 10am
The Queensland Art Gallery Plaza

The team at Eidos invited the general public to participate in the launch day - “Ideas for Social Change” which was held on the 18th May, 2005.

The launch day brought together key leaders in education and social research, policy, industry and the community. All these groups share an interest in using education for the benefit of society as a whole. They also share a common interest in using education for the benefit of society as a whole. Eidos’ launch will provide an opportunity for different groups to come together, mingle, share and learn.

The main topic of discussion was based on the following hypothetical:

“What do you consider to be the key big issue for the next decade in learning and social change? What’s your big idea to address this? You are stuck in a lift for five minutes with the Premier and Prime Minister. Other than panic, you need to provide evidence for your big issue and big idea”.

A short film from Research Congress 2005 can be viewed at the Eidos Screening Room .
