Eidos Data Sharing Declaration

Data sharing promotes many goals of Eidos and its members in relation to research and policy development.

Data collected by Governments belongs to the public and should be shared as far as possible, to illuminate research, policy, practice, theory building and testing. This is particularly important for unique data that cannot be readily replicated.

Eidos believes all data should be considered for data sharing particularly population data held by governments. Data should be made as widely and freely available as possible while safeguarding the privacy of participants, and protecting confidentiality.
