The Finance and Administration Committee

The Finance and Administration Committee oversees and reviews the processes of management and the audit function with a view to achieving Eidos's strategic objectives in an efficient and effective manner. The Group assists the Board and institute staff in the discharge of their responsibilities for financial reporting, compliance, internal control systems, audit activities, risk management and any other matters referred to it by the Board.

The Industry Advisory Committee

The Industry Advisory Committee reports to the Executive Director. Membership of the Panel will include selected members from each of the Eidos Project Industry partners, the Chair of the Centre Research Leaders, the Cooperative Leaders, and an independent Chairperson. Typically the project industry members of the Advisory Group will be different individuals from the Board members. The Advisory Group members are likely to report to the Board members in the agencies. The Advisory Group is responsible for:
  • Developing new projects according to public, private and community needs;

  • Review the progress of ongoing projects;

  • Annually review the research undertaken and make recommendations to the Board on funding for each new financial year.
The Advisory Panel meets 3 to 4 times per year. These groups will be sustained through a range of flexible network interactions rather than meetings and workshops. The membership will also be fluid, based on the emerging needs and opportunities.

The International Scientific Advisory Council

The International Scientific Advisory Council reports to the Executive Director. Membership of the Panel will include international partners. The council will:
  • Develop new international projects according to public, private and community needs;

  • Review the progress of ongoing international projects;

  • Annually review the international research undertaken and make recommendations to the Board on funding for each new financial year.
